If you want to show someone how to do something on your iPhone or iPad and they are not with you then you might find it easier to record what you are doing and then you can send it to them or upload it to somewhere like YouTube. Both the iPhone and iPad have a screen recorder build in. This can be particularly useful right now with some many of us working from home and need to possibly show our colleagues, friends or family how to do something. Here I show you how to use it.
A USB-C hub allows you to connect a number of USB 3 devices like hard drives, memory sticks, scanners and printers as well as some other devices. The one I use here (link below) also has an HDMI port, USB-C port, SD card and Micros SD card reader. It works well with all the devices that have USB-C including the iPad Pro.

The new Maps app in iOS 9 now shows you more than before including public transport information so you can see where bus stops, train stations and other travel options. But what is really useful in addition to this is they show you routes, route numbers, train lines and the times for these services so you can see when the next bus or train is due, it also shows you any that are coming after that if there are any due shortly after.
This also works well for the London Underground, the Tube and if you have wifi on the underground then you can see updates whilst you wait and perhaps choose another route.
Another great update is the Notes app in iOS 9
The new Notes app in iOS 9 has some nice new features including the ability to now add a checklist and tick off on the list, you can also now draw in a note so you can now write in there, sketch or let you imagination run wild. You can also create a note from text selected in Safari and an email as well as create a note from the Maps app where you can add more information that you could do if you were bookmarking a location.
